WNBA: Tuesday Game Previews & Predictions

I took the last two days off from writing analysis, but I’m back to cover the three WNBA games on Tuesday.

I did post one bet for Monday’s game, NYL/DAL over 160.5. By some miracle, a last-second three-pointer pushed it over, landing on my number of 163.

Seattle Storm vs. Chicago Sky Prediction

The Seattle Storm have three games left and are fighting for playoff positioning while they travel to face the first-place Chicago Sky.

This game has opened Chicago -5 with a total of 163.5. There’s absolutely no value in this game at the moment. I’m not motivated to find a bet on it either.

If the markets move in one direction or another, I could be enticed, but I need a 161/166 or a -3/+7 even to consider it.

Atlanta Dream vs. Las Vegas Aces Prediction

The Atlanta Dream are trying to get one of the last playoff spots, but they’ll have to face the second-place Las Vegas Aces.

The Dream does not need to win this game. They have two more games after this one against New York, which will determine their playoff aspirations.

Circa opened up with a 168.5 posted. I quickly bet under. The current market is hovering around 167.5. My guess is that the market will move between 166.5-167.5 until tipoff.

For a side, the line is currently Aces -10.5. While I would be inclined to play the Dream +10.5 and get two points of value, I don’t, particularly like this matchup. This is Las Vegas’ first home game after a long six-game road trip. Something tells me to stay away.

Connecticut Sun vs. Los Angeles Sparks Prediction

Finally, the Connecticut Sun will be facing the Los Angeles Sparks. The third-place Sun are playing for playoff position, while the Sparks are clinging to their last breath.

Los Angeles Sparks +4.2

I’m seeing Sun -8 and 156 on the board. I’m all about taking the over in this game. I have a lean on Los Angeles +8, but I would really like to wait to see if the market moves this number anywhere.

I have a unit on over 156. I could be convinced to add more to it as tipoff nears.
