WNBA: Saturday Game Previews & Predictions

There are two WNBA games on Saturday night.

Friday was relatively uneventful. My bets went 3-1. I almost got the sweep with the midsize +185 underdog, but LA couldn’t pull it off. Both games flew over with ease, and LA covered the spread.

Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings Prediction

The Indiana Fever take their 15-game losing streak on the road to face the Dallas Wings, who had an impressive win against the Aces on Thursday.

Cira dropped the opening odds for Saturday with the Wings -11 and a total of 162.5. There is not much value in the current model projections as my numbers land directly on both.

I’ll wait to see how the markets react before betting anything.

New York Liberty vs. Phoneix Mercury Prediction

The New York Liberty take on the Phoenix Mercury–both teams are fighting for the bottom playoff spots.

New York Liberty 164.7
Phoenix Mercury -6.4

Circa’s opener is Pick-Em and a total of 163.5. While there’s a point of value on over, I will hold off. I don’t like betting overs in the WNBA above 160. If the number goes down, I will bet it over.

I’m not sure why my numbers are so far off the market, but I’ll bet the Mercury PK. Right now, Diana Taurasi is day-to-day and may not play, but she’s only worth a point or so in this matchup.
